L: Deciding it’s time to start going to therapy can be a hard decision to make.

It’s common to feel anxiety when you first explore the idea of counseling. For the clients I work with, I use a method I call REALIGN – Restructure, Equip, Assess, Liberate, Independence, Generate and New/Now. Once a client overcomes the initial hesitation to restore health and balance to their lives, they start to see immediate benefits. During the LIBERATE stage, however, is when we see lasting life change based on all the new insights gained through the other phases.

Together, we take continual steps toward enhancing your sense of emotional freedom. You’re able to identify and set healthy boundaries for yourself to avoid backsliding – consistently able to practice self-love, self-appreciation, self-affirmation and self-compassion. In this particular phase clients create a healthier environment for themselves, remaining aware of newly developed boundaries which align with who you are as your truest, authentic self.

This place of personal liberation allows you to parent without guilt, to engage in healthier friendships, romantic relationships and to pursue your goals with a fuller sense of confidence.
